With over 600,000 not-for-profit organisations in Australia, volunteering accounts for almost 10% of the Gross Domestic Profit in our country - almost matching the GDP from mining!

There are approximately 3000 not-for-profit organisations in the Gold Coast alone, many of whom rely on spontaneous and long-term volunteer commitment. With countless festivals, events, sporting fixtures, welfare missions and crisis management programs, the Gold Coast prides itself on having such a high level of community engagement.
